Please excuse me, but I simply could not resist this little time-line/graph which so perfectly articulates the extent of over-saturation we have reached in the past 20 years of media distro. Don't get me wrong... web 2.0 is obviously my bread and butter, but this behavior borders on the edge of obsessive-compulsiveness. It's almost depressing how fleeting nearly every 'artist' (and I use the term loosely) is anymore; and how they all simply revolve around our snapshot response to their initial premiere. Oh well, I'll stop before I end up in a long-winded rant... but this did give me a cheap laugh this morning... hope you enjoy!
